Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about event pages, song requests, and tips

What is a Human Jukebox event page?

An event page is a shareable link (or QR code) for a specific gig or show. Your audience can open it on their phone to request songs from your set list, leave a tip, or read your bio—all without signing up.

How do song requests work?

You build a repertoire of songs in your Human Jukebox dashboard. For each event, that list is shown on the event page. Fans pick a song, add an optional dedication, and submit. You see all requests in one place and can mark them as played as you go.

How do tips work?

Guests can add a tip when they submit a request or use the Tip tab to send support on its own. Tips are processed securely via Stripe. You set a minimum tip amount and see tip totals in your Human Jukebox dashboard.

Can I close requests but still accept tips?

Yes. You can switch any event to “tips only” from the requests page. The event page will then show only the tip option, so you can keep taking support after you’re done taking requests.

Who is Human Jukebox for?

Human Jukebox is for musicians, bands, DJs, and any performer who wants a simple way to take song requests and tips at live events. If you have a set list and play for an audience, Human Jukebox can help you connect with them.

Do my fans need an account?

No. Your audience only needs the link or QR code for your event page. They can request songs and leave tips without creating an account or logging in.
